So when Aluminium is recycled, it actually is.
It can be back on the shelf in less than 6 weeks, all sparkling and new,
and that can happen over and over again… times infinity. Over 75%
of all aluminium produced since the 1880’s is still in use today.
But plastic…. It’s actually not profitable to recycle anymore.
This means, more than half of what we put in our recycle bins
are sent off to landfill, it’s screwing the planet more by trying
to recycle with the extra trucking. It’s killing our oceans and our wildlife.
